Homecoming: The 30-Day Self-Love Yoga Challenge
Option 1: Sign up with a group and begin the challenge when it works for you.
Option 2: Sign up as an individual and I will contact you when there are enough people to run a group.
For many of us, self-love seems like something that’s for other people. Our relationship with ourselves is so fraught, that we cannot imagine ever feeling something like love for ourselves.
You are not alone in your struggles with self-acceptance. SO many people feel like you do, stuck in a cycle of frustration and self-doubt. With every step forward you take, it seems like you take two steps back. I know how utterly exhausting and disheartening it is to feel like you can never measure up to your own standards.
The good news is, you don't have to accept this as your reality, AND you don't have to turn to weight loss or other surface-level, unsustainable methods to 'fix it'.
Homecoming: The 30-Day Self-Love Yoga Challenge offers you a nurturing space to reconnect with yourself, one step at a time. With daily accessible practices centered around Yoga, Ayurveda, breathwork, meditation, and self-reflection, this program will have you thinking of self-love in a completely new way, while helping you shift the way you see yourself--from a lens of judgment and self-criticism, to one of appreciation and kindness.
Life can feel small and muted when you're constantly consumed with thoughts of inadequacy.
Maybe you find yourself grappling with anxiety and shame surrounding your body, leading to isolation. When you go through life believing that everything would be better, if only you were thinner or somehow more ‘acceptable,’ it can truly be all-consuming. Living with this mindset constantly on in the background distracts you from the joy and vibrancy of life. As painful as they may be, deep down, you know that these beliefs are not reality—they are just layers of hurt built over years of comparisons, societal pressures, and repeated failed attempts at sustainable weight loss.
Whether it’s the feeling that overcomes you when trying on clothes that don’t fit, feeling like you want to avoid social situations, or seeing an old photo of yourself and aching with regret, you’re fed up with the nagging belief that your life would be better if only you were different. You’ve tried diets, read books, gone to therapy—the list goes on—but those methods haven’t given you the results you're looking for. You find yourself wishing for the ease that comes with more self-acceptance, but feel trapped by patterns that keep you stuck.
You desperately want to feel liberated and whole, but you don't know how to get there. You’re here because you’re ready to break this cycle—to finally embrace a new story about your body and yourself.
I know personally how painful this journey can be.
I used to spend hours in front of the mirror, criticizing every inch and imagining how much “better” I would look if I lost weight—and how much “better” my life would be as a result. It has taken years of self-exploration, learning about and practicing yoga, and lots and lots of support from others to get me to where I am. I discovered that real change happens over time as we come to understand that there’s no shortcut to self-love. Each time we show up for ourselves—as with any other relationship—a foundation of trust and love develops and deepens. When challenges arise, the temptation to fall back into our old ways can be incredibly strong. With each temptation to take the “easy” way out that we overcome, we become stronger, as we seek out new ways to take our commitment of self-love to the next level.
In my yoga therapy training, I was delighted to discover how relevant ayurvedic practices and yoga philosophy are to the practice of body liberation and self-love. Although Western culture has certainly taken aspects of these ancient practices and white-washed them to fit into our modern diet culture-riddled standards, at their root, they are true gifts to anyone who is looking for inner peace. I created Homecoming: The 30-Day Self-Love Yoga Challenge to share these practices for those who may be vulnerable to the "diet culture versions", so you can join us with confidence knowing that you won't be unknowingly pulled into some weight loss-coded wellness scheme.
Together, we’ll foster a nurturing environment where vulnerability and humor can coexist, allowing you to rediscover—or perhaps, discover for the first time—the joy in connecting with your body. You’ll find community support here, and I’ll walk alongside you, providing guidance and compassion as we navigate this transformative path together.
Imagine this: it’s been 30 days since you joined the Homecoming challenge. You wake up feeling brighter and emotionally lighter. Your first thoughts of the day are not about your body. You make your way to the bathroom, look in the mirror, and see yourself looking back—there's a sparkle in your eyes that draws your attention. You feel connected. You begin one of the morning practices that you've adopted over the past month, a loving greeting for the day.
With 30 days of intentional self-care and exploration behind you, you feel more aligned, connected, and accepting of your natural state. You’ve created a self-care routine that both honors your physical needs and also nurtures your spirit. The work you’ve put into your mindset has shifted your self-talk from “I wish I could change” to “I’m worthy as I am.” Imagine engaging deeply with a kind, supportive community who cheers you on through each challenge and triumph, creating a strong sense of belonging.
Each week, you reflect on your growth, using the tools you’ve gained to manage anxiety and honor your needs. You’ve fostered authentic connections within our community and formed friendships that you can turn to for feedback and support. You feel a sense of freedom that comes with embracing who you truly are. This is more than a challenge; it’s the beginning of a lifelong journey of self-love and acceptance, one that is ripe with possibilities.

FAQ
-
The course includes four yoga classes: one for each week. It also includes a weekly meditation and a weekly breathing exercise. Beyond those three components, you can expect to learn about yoga philosophy and ayurvedic practices (Ayurveda is yoga’s sister science - I explain all about it in the course!), all specifically geared towards developing self-love.
-
The yoga practices are gentle and appropriate for beginners. If you’re looking for a challenging physical yoga practice, this is not that! There are two floor-based practices that can easily be done on a bed if needed. The other two practices have options for sitting, standing, or being on the floor.
-
Yoga is a philosophy, and the physical aspect is just one small piece of the bigger system. Philosophy, breathwork, meditation, and mindset, are all aspects of yoga that are equally, if not more important than the physical practice. Ayurvedic practices are extremely complementary to yoga and will help you deepen your practice.
-
You can anticipate spending about 5-6 hours per week on the content, plus the weekly 1-hr long coaching call.
-
Although there are 30 days of content in the course, I provide a week of rest after the second week of content. Experience has shown that having some time to catch up is beneficial.
-
Coaching calls will be scheduled based on availability of the majority of participants in your cohort. You will have a total of six calls: a kickoff call, four calls during the course of the program, and a concluding call.
-
I will be available for the duration of the course on the community connection platform. You may also request that I address a topic/question ahead of the call, and then watch the recording.
-
Great news: you don’t have to be perfect at this! I know that people who are drawn to a challenge like this are ones who may be more likely to be hard on themselves for not being perfect; but that’s part of the process. I have built into the program opportunities for reflection, extra time to play catch up, and permission to be imperfect. You’re in good hands.
-
Yes! I would be happy to continue supporting you through my online membership The Sanctuary and I’m also available for one-on-one sessions.
-
When you purchase the course, you’ll make your payment and indicate which cohort you’d like to join. A couple weeks before your cohort begins, I’ll send you instructions for how to get access to your course. Content will be released one week at a time.
-
Not at this time. The community aspect is really central to the experience.
-
The practices that may not be appropriate for everyone are flagged, so each individual can best anticipate their needs and make appropriate decisions for themselves. This is true for practices that may cause an emotional response, as well as practices that have contraindications for folks with certain physical conditions.
